Working as an architect, she focused on the construction of residential buildings in her hometown. On the one hand, multi-storey floor slab houses were major projects during her career. One residential building, designed by Indzhikyan, is located on Shiraki Street (Yerevan). On the other hand, the development of a micro-district (typical structure of residential building in the Soviet Union) in Erebuni-3 (микрорайона Эребуни-3 в Ереване) in Yerevans’ district of the same name was also another focus of her work.
