Inese Aizstrauta worked as an architect after finishing her studies in 1984. Currently, she serves as the mayor of the Latvian city Jurmala.
Zaiga Gaile worked as an architect and a lecturer in different positions. Gaile is considered an expert of architectural heritage restoration and published numerous articles, too.
Tamara Katsenelenbogen specialized in the design of public buildings and urban planning. She worked in Latvia and Russia.

Inguna Ribena worked as an architect and won several competitions. Today, she’s mostly working as a politician in the Latvian Parliament.
Ausma Skujina worked as an architect with different employers, among them “Pilsētprojekts” (1968-1979) and “Kolkhozproekt” (1979-1983). She also worked as a historic preservationist.
Marta Stanya worked as an architect mostly in Riga after 1945. Besides her architectural design, she was also known for interior design.
