Korenchuk graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute in 1952, moving to work at Ukrmistobudproekt (Ukrainian Institute of Urban Design and Architecture) in Kharkiv. Between 1956 and 1961 she worked at the Lakoter Design Institute for Residential and Public Buildings in Budapest, returning to Ukrmistobudproekt in 1964. From 1964 to 1986 she taught “Fundamentals of Architectural Composition and Design” at the Department of Architecture at the Kharkiv Institute of Civil Engineering.
Her work includes residential buildings in Mariupol (Artema street and Franko street), 1953-1954, interiors of the Kryvbas Hotel in Kryvyi Rih Socialist City (1962-1963), residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih (1953-1963) and interior design of the House of Culture “Chemist” and of the pioneer camp of the plant “Khimprom”, Pervomaisky (1985-1992).
