Upon graduating from Kyiv Art Institute in 1976, Klymenko worked at KyivZNDIEP until 2000, when she became the head of design office A-Klass in Kyiv. Among her projects are hotel Inturist (today, Kyivskyi) on Hospitalna street 12 (1989) and office buildings in Kyiv. She is also the author of internet projects “Architect Joseph Karakis” and “First Ukrainian Academy of Architecture” (both 2002).
