Short Biography and Work

Born in a Jewish family, Shur graduated from the Department of Architecture of Kharkiv Institute of Engineering and Construction in 1951. Upon graduation, she worked at design institutes Dipromash, Teploelektroproekt and Kharkivproekt. At Teploelektroproekt, she worked on the planning of residential quarters serving Vuhlehirska, Slovyanska, and Krivyi Rih power stations. At Kharkivproekt, she participated in the planning of high-rise residential districts Pavlovo Polye, Saltivka, and Olekseevka.
