The film “The Love of Mankind” from 1972 focusses on a young architects’ couple. The couple is based on architects Alexander Shipkov, the head architect of Norilsk in 1965-1967, and his wife Elizaveta Shipkova.
Reisshinka (from Reißschiene, T-square; literally, “small T-square”) was an amateur satirical musical ensemble of women-architects, which was created in 1953 at Mosproekt institute and patronized by the Central House of architects.
