Work

Rustambeyova worked at BakiDovlatLayiha and was a recipient of the title “distinguished architect of Azerbaijan” and of the State Prize of Azerbaijan in architecture (1982). She is featured on the stamp of the post of Azerbaijan commemorating the architects of the republic (2018). 

In the 1970s, Rustambeyova worked on urban landscape architecture projects for Baku, designing (with A. Rustamadze and G. Mekhtieva) the park in front of the Palace of the Republic (today, Heydar Aliyev Palace) in 1973, and a garden with a fountain and cascade (with K. Hasymov and G. Mekhtieva) in front of the building of the Government of Azerbaijan in 1975.

Among Rustanbekova’s architectural projects are a residential building on J. Jabbarli Street, Yasamal district, Baku (with Nazim Hajibeyov and Vadim Shulgin, 1974) and the Gulustan Wedding Palace Complex (with N. Amirkhanov, N. Hajibekov, T. Sharinky, N. Ismailov, and K. Kerimov). The latter was awarded the State Prize of Azerbaijan in 1982.
