Short Biography and Work

Larisa Hamzayeva was born in Baku in 1939. She worked at Baku electric service between 1957 and 1961, while studying at Baku College of Energy, from which she graduated in 1962. She continued her education at Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry, which she graduated in electric engineering in 1968. For most of her career, between 1965 and 1995, Hamzayeva worked at Azgospromproekt. Since 1999, she has worked at BakiDovlatLayiha, where she became a senior specialist of the insititute. The projects that she worked on include the building of the embassy of China in Baku, the reconstructions of subway stations Azadlıq, Mushfig, and Bus Station, the reconstruction of Republic hotel, the buildings of the Academy of Ministry of Emergency Situations, and others.
