Short Biography

Lozynska was born in Odesa in 1909 and studied at the Department of Architecture of Odesa Institute of Engineering and Construction between 1928 and 1931. Upon graduation and until 1944, she worked as an architect in Moscow, becoming a member of the Union of Architects of the USSR in 1935. From 1944, Lozynska worked at the construction projecting institute Miskbudproekt (Urban construction design) in Kyiv.

Work

Among her projects are the central square in Pereiaslav (with Lydia Semenyuk and Tamara Eligulashvili, 1954), the metro-station Universytet in Kyiv (1960, with Lydia Semenyuk and Tamara Eligulashvili), residential buildings in Kyiv and Moscow, reconstruction of a hospital in Kyiv, urban development plans for Kryvyi Rih, Makiivka, Alexandria, Bohuslav and certain areas in Zaporizhzhya.
