Short Biography

Ukrainian architect and preservationist who specialized in the preservation of 18th- and 19th-century architecture. Born in Chita region, Russia, Huselnykova graduated from Kyiv Institute of Engineering and Construction in 1969. Between 1965 and 1994, she worked at Ukrproektrestavratsiia institute. In 1981, as a part of a team, she was awarded Taras Shevchenko prize for the project of the Museum of Shipbuilding and Fleet in Mykolaev. 

Work

Among her other works are the projects of restoration of the 1897 Lutheran church in Odessa (1991, with Iryna Ivanenko), 1780 gates and fortifications in Kherson, 1786 St. Catherine’s cathedral in Kherson, 1784 Intercession Cathedral in Akhtyrka (Sumy region).
