State Prize of the Estonian SSR
In addition to the State Prize of the entire USSR, additional prizes were awarded in each of the Union Republics. The State Prize is the highest award for civilians and is intended to honour special achievements in the scientific, literary, artistic or musical fields. It was awarded until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Estonian Cultural Foundation Annual Prize for Architecture
The Estonian Cultural Foundation has been awarding prizes annually since 1995 to individuals with outstanding achievements in the fields of culture and sport. The prize for architecture is awarded to persons or collectives of persons working in architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape architecture, environmental design, restoration/reconstruction, architectural activities or architectural criticism. It is intended to increase the significance of architecture for society and to honour the authors of outstanding Estonian architecture.
