State Awards and Their Female Recipients

All-Union Award

The All-Union Awrds were awarded at the regularly held competitions of the Soviet Union. All kinds of titles were awarded in any artistic, musical and architectural field to the population of the USSR. Its purpose was to showcase the achievements and talents of the people, apparently obtained through the Soviet system. The following are award winners from Latvia and their award title:

All-Union Young Architects’ Show for the reconstruction of the barn of the collective farm “Soviet Latvia”

Order of the Three Stars

It is the highest state award of the Republic of Latvia, honoring individuals or organizations with high-level service or administration of all public interests for Latvia. The Order of the Three Stars was established in 1924 and re-established after independence in 1994.
