The architect of the iconic Chişinău Circus building (1966-1981), the Moscow-trained Kirichenko worked on a variety of urban and architectural projects Chişinău, including the Dacia Avenue connecting the city to its airport.

One of the eldest female architects of Moldova, during her long career, Spierer practiced in Bălți and Chişinău, working in a variety of styles ranging from early modernism to “socialist realism” to prefabrication.

Born in rural Moldova and trained in Chişinău, Dogotaru was the chief architect of Făleşti in the 1990s and more recently the chief architect of Chişinău.

Educated in Lviv, Ukraine, Lomova spent her long career at Moldgiprostroy, she worked on numerous projects including the open-air theater in Valea Morilor Park (1957) and the modernist Palace of Culture of Railway Workers (1980).

Working in collaboration with Gennady Zhinkin, Lyudmila Gofman designed functional modernist facades during the 1970s before turning to the design of hospitals and medical centers in Chişinău.

Irina Kolbaeva is known as the architect, together with B. Banykin, of one of the icons of Soviet modernism in Chişinău, the nineteen-storey-high hotel Cosmos (1974-1983).

Beginning in the late 1940s, Nina Feldbrina worked in Krasnoyarsk, east Russia, where she designed the river port building, and later Chișinău, Moldova, where she engaged in urban planning.
